Student Travel Grant Information

The 8th EMN Meeting is pleased to offer travel grants in the amount of $250 to a limited number of students working in the fields of energy, materials and nanotechnology. The grants are intended to partially offset travel costs for highly qualified student researchers to attend and present their works at the EMN Meeting.

Eligibility:

  • The student must be presenting a paper (Oral or Poster) at the Meeting.
  • Preference will be given to graduate students who are nearing completion of their PhD degrees.

How to apply:

  • The student must submit a complete abstract in the provided template to the following email: . 
  • The student’s supervisor must submit a letter of recommendation, along with the student’s resume to the following email: .

The deadline for submitting applications and letters of recommendation is 5:00 PM on September 5, 2014.
